Things to Do

Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook offers breathtaking views of the Los Angeles skyline and a new, state-of-the-art visitor’s center. Rediscover Los Angeles from a 500-foot peak and listen to the history of the land where the overlook resides, which has now become a symbol of restoration and conservation. The scenic overlook also offers hiking trails and an expansive 56-acre park exploding with natural wildlife. 
 
Visit the most historic and exciting movie studio in the world! The Sony Pictures Studio Tour is the site of famous films like The Wizard of Oz and the filming location of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Enjoy a two-hour tour through the historic space, view costumes from various famous films and television shows at the Sony Pictures Museum, and catch a glimpse of modern movie-making on a contemporary soundstage.
 
The home of adventurous new work, Kirk Douglas Theatre operates as a performance arts center and playhouse. Built-in 1946, this historic theater is part of the Center Theatre Group, which not only showcases some of the best films and theater performances but also brings educational opportunities to the Culver City community.
 
Visit A Purposeful Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue serving the greater Los Angeles area, to bring home a new family member! This 501c organization rescues abandoned pups and hosts unique events to match dogs in need with foster and forever families. The rescue even has their own wine to help save animals in need called Rescue Rosé
